On the south facing wall of the outhouse we have a small fig tree. It is
on its third year by now and we expect to harvest a few fruits in august or september, provided we have a sunny summer.
We got the tree from my parents, who have an old and much larger tree -
the "mother" of ours. Last year they got more than 100 ripe figs from
their tree!
If you like figs, they are good to eat right off the tree. They're even
better in brandy, served with vanilla ice cream :-) |

Words of wisdom on the cellar wall.

Garden:
"A place where time ceises and
the innermost eternity begins" |
Even if the garden can be quite demanding at times, it
is also a place for afterthought and inspiration. For us it's an
important opposite to the daily work at the office.
