Wood Anemone (Anemone nemorosa) flowers in early spring and spreads it's
light in the darkest corner of the garden.
The ferns have started to unfurl their leaves but the hostas are still hiding below the ground, waiting for more light and higher temperature. |

As the rest of the garden, this corner isn't finished
yet. Does a garden ever become finished by the way?
When we find
something new and interesting we add it where it fits, in sun or shade.
If it doesn't work out well we move it to a better spot and hope for the
best. The large fern in the rear has been moved here from my parents
garden where it was planted in early 1920's by my grandfather who was a
gardener. Maybe that's the genetic background for my interest in gardening.
